Muscle Spasm
Muscles twitching after a workout? You’re probably experiencing spasms! This condition can often be painful, and can interrupt daily life with waves of discomfort. The good news is that muscle spasms are fixable, as they’re usually a result of overexertion or an electrolyte imbalance in the body. Relaxatan’s proprietary formula includes both passionflower and magnesium, both useful in relieving spasming muscles.
Pulled Muscles
If you work out, you know the pain of a pulled muscle. It’s throbbing, deep, and sore- oftentimes preventing you from going about business as usual! Muscle pain like this can be very distracting, and Relaxatan has been formulated specifically to address stiff, painful muscles. Our all-natural ingredients target the source of muscle discomfort, getting right to work helping YOU get back on your feet.

A long day’s work often means a long night of sore muscles. Whether you work a labor-intensive job digging holes or slinging boxes, or whether eight hours or more per day in a desk chair has negatively affected your back, Relaxatan is for you. Because it harnesses the power in natural ingredients, those affected by muscle soreness can take it without fear of feeling “loopy” or “out of it.” Order a bottle today and see just how Relaxatan can help!
Tight Muscles
We often find ourselves repeating the same motions, standing and sitting in the same positions many times daily. This repetitive stress can cause issues like stiffness and tightness, though the two are not always mutually exclusive. Tight muscles cause discomfort and stress, and the best physical ways to relieve them can often be more painful! Remember those foam rollers? Relaxatan’s formula of valerian, magnesium, passionflower, and White Willow come in clutch to deliver an anti-inflammatory, tension-relieving punch that’ll get you up and running again in no time!
Leg Cramps
Cramps. We’ve all had ‘em, and we all hate ‘em. They’re a sudden over-contraction of muscle tissue, often caused by (you guessed it, again) overexertion and an electrolyte imbalance. Cramps can be severe, even to the point of being visible below the skin! We’ve conducted a large body of research to see just how to best treat painful cramping, and we’re happy to present Relaxatan as the fruits of our labor! Order a bottle today, and see just how you can find relief!
Fibromyalgia
Fibromyalgia is characterized by widespread pain in the muscles and bones, and the exact cause is currently still unknown. However, the symptoms associated with the condition can thankfully be treated, and here at Relaxatan we’ve focused on just that- relieving the symptoms associated with muscle and joint pain. Valerian, passionflower, white willow, and magnesium work in harmony to quash soreness, stiffness, and muscle pain! Pick up a bottle today!
Back Sprain
A sprained back is nothing to laugh at. Sprains are painful tears or overstretches in muscles and ligaments, and they can be debilitating, keeping you in bed for days. Maybe it was too hard of a workout, or maybe you lifted something improperly, but regardless the cause- a sprained back definitely throws a wrench in daily life. Relaxatan uses white willow bark to soothe inflammation and ease pain, passionflower and valerian root to gently ease muscle stiffness, and magnesium to relieve pain and cramping. What have you got to lose?

Recovery + Rehab

How important is recovery? Recovery is essential to seeing real progress, no matter the training program. Muscles that are tight, sore, or inflamed can become a liability to any regimen. If not addressed, the strain on your body from previous workouts can spill over to your next session, and sometimes, even affect your normal day to day activities.

What does Relaxatan do for me? Relaxatan was formulated to drive away the residual effects of an intense training program such as sore muscles, aches and pains, arthritis, tight muscles, and cramps. Each ingredient was carefully selected to address all the aforementioned ailments. Once taken after a hard workout, your muscles begin to loosen and relax, and therefore; move quicker into its stages of recovery.

If this really works, then it must be bad for me, right? On the contrary, the Relaxatan formula uses all natural ingredients that are perfectly safe and non-addictive. Every ingredient that was selected was chosen specifically because it showed efficacy in desired areas, while being safe for repeated and prolonged usage.

Sleep Aid

Exercise, of any kind, depletes the body of energy and fluids in addition to breaking down muscle. While replenishing the body with the proper nutrition, and resting the muscles that have been broken down, aids the body and mind in the recovery process, they seem to pale in comparison to the importance of good, restful sleep. Well rested individuals will always show better results when it comes to performance, regardless of the intensity or type of exercise event. Relaxatan has hand picked natural ingredients that support a restful and recovery proficient slumber.

With intense workouts and routines, comes the occasional bout of insomnia. This could be for a number of reasons, with the foremost being taking a few scoops of pre-workout or just a late-night workout. Winding down and getting to sleep can be tough. Relaxatan is your All-Natural Soldier against this ever taxing enemy.

Take a look at our Ingredients to see which can help you get to sleep on the road to recovery.

Relaxatan Ingredients

Passion Flower Extract 4:1 (herb, passiflora incarnata)

What the Science Says
A 2009 systematic review of two studies that included 198 people compared the ability of passionflower and two (pharmaceutical) drugs to reduce anxiety. It concluded that the three substances had about the same degree of effectiveness. From http://nccam.nih.gov/health/passionflower
How does it work?
The chemicals in passionflower have calming, sleep inducing, and muscle spasm relieving effects.

Magnesium

Uses
This medication is a mineral supplement used to prevent and treat low amounts of magnesium in the blood. Magnesium is very important for the normal functioning of cells, nerves, muscles, bones, and the heart. Usually, a wellbalanced diet provides normal blood levels of magnesium. However, certain situations cause your body to lose magnesium faster than you can replace it from your diet. These situations include treatment with "water pills" (diuretics such as furosemide, hydrochlorothiazide), a poor diet, alcoholism, or other medical conditions (e.g., severe diarrhea/vomiting,stomach/intestinal absorption problems, poorly controlled diabetes). From http://www.webmd.com/drugs/2/drug-7946/magnesium-gluconate-oral/details Dr. Mark Hyman MD has written an article entitled Magnesium: Meet the Most Powerful Relaxation Mineral Available where he states, “Think of magnesium as the relaxation mineral. Anything that is tight, irritable, crampy, and stiff — whether it is a body part or an even a mood — is a sign of magnesium deficiency.” He continued to say, “This critical mineral is actually responsible for over 300 enzyme reactions and is found in all of your tissues — but mainly in your bones, muscles, and brain. You must have it for your cells to make energy, for many different chemical pumps to work, to stabilize membranes, and to help muscles relax.” From http://drhyman.com/blog/2010/05/20/magnesium-the-most-powerful-relaxation-mineral-available/

Valerian Root Extract 4:1 (Valeriana Officinalis)

Sixteenth-century Spanish explorers learned of passionflower in Peru. Native peoples of the Americas used passionflower for boils, wounds, earaches, and liver problems. Today, passionflower is promoted as a folk or traditional remedy for anxiety, stress, and sleep, as well as for heart ailments, asthma, attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder, burns, and hemorrhoids.
What the Science Says
Research suggests that valerian may be helpful for insomnia, but there is not enough evidence from welldesigned studies to confirm this.

There is not enough scientific evidence to determine whether valerian works for other conditions, such as anxiety or depression.

NCCAM-funded research on valerian includes studies on the herb’s effects on sleep in healthy older adults and in people with Parkinson’s disease. NCCAM-funded researchers are also studying the potential of valerian and other herbal products to relieve menopausal symptoms. From http://nccam.nih.gov/health/valerian

White Willow Bark (Salix Alba)

Uses
Willow bark acts a lot like aspirin, so it is used for pain, including headache, muscle pain, menstrual cramps, rheumatoid arthritis (RA), osteoarthritis, gout, and a disease of the spine called ankylosing spondylitis. Willow bark’s pain relieving potential has been recognized throughout history. Willow bark was commonly used during the time of Hippocrates, when people were advised to chew on the bark to relieve pain and fever. From http://www.webmd.com/vitamins-supplements/ingredientmono-955-willow%20bark.aspx?activeingredientid=955&activeingredientname=willow%20bark
What The Science Says
The use of willow bark dates back thousands of years, to the time of Hippocrates (400 BC) when patients were advised to chew on the bark to reduce fever and inflammation. Willow bark has been used throughout the centuries in China and Europe, and continues to be used today for the treatment of pain (particularly low back pain and osteoarthritis), headache, and inflammatory conditions, such as bursitis and tendinitis. The bark of white willow contains salicin, which is a chemical similar to aspirin (acetylsalicylic acid). In combination with the herb's powerful antiinflammatory plant compounds (called flavonoids), salicin is thought to be responsible for the painrelieving and antiinflammatory effects of the herb. In fact, in the 1800s, salicin was used to develop aspirin. White willow appears to bring pain relief more slowly than aspirin, but its effects may last longer.
